Security Council unity gives hope for Syria peace talks: UN special envoy

OWENSVILLE, Ind. A woman flagged down a police officer Thursday night informing him that she was worried about her daughter, 30-year-old Natalie Lawson, after her daycare had called letting her know that she had never shown up to pick up her child. The officer went to the Lawson’s residence and after getting no response from knocking, he entered the unlocked door. Inside the messy house, they found Lawson standing in the living room, nervous and unable to sit down. She informed the officer that she had not slept in two days due to all the meth she had smoked. Aside from finding an answering machine with messages from her daughter’s daycare wanting to know why they still had her kid after 22 hours, they also found a meth pipe in the bathroom. Lawson was charged with child neglect and drug possession, her child placed in the care of Lawson’s mother. I hope this woman is able to turn her life around and be the mother her kid deserves but I am betting she ends up another drain on society as well as an addition to anti-meth before and after pics.Nichols has stated that the mother of several of the alleged victims saw photographs of Fischer posing with the children. All of the individuals, Fischer included, were either naked or stripped down to their underwear. […]

China to strengthen military cooperation with Malawi, Thailand

ALBERTVILLE, Alabama – Drivers on U.S. Highway 431 saw something unusual with a fellow motorist on Wednesday morning. They saw a minivan being driven by 37-year-old Jackie Denise Knott, and on the roof of the vehicle was a cardboard box. Ok, so that’s noticeable, but not really worth anything that would be on the front page of this site, right? Right. It’s what was inside the box that had witnesses phoning police. Sitting inside the cardboard box was Knott’s 13-year-old daughter. Police quickly pulled over Knott and her explanation for her daughter sitting on the roof of her minivan were quite amazing. “The box was too large to get in the van, so more or less, she needed a paperweight,” said Albertville Police Officer Jamie Smith. Knott was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, her daughter was turned over to relatives. From day one, Pinto kept a journal of his day-to-day life at Lackawanna. In that 20-page diary, tales of rape, abuse and mistreatment. “The overall treatment I have received from both the prison and (the prison’s) medical providers (is) unconstitutional, insufficient, cruel, inhumane and shamefully unacceptable,” Pinto wrote in April. He wrote of being repeatedly ass raped by an inmate he named “The Silverback.” “First night is bleeding but no penetration,” he wrote. “The next night (and never again, he lies) is full-on jailhouse Bubba.” He talks about abuse, both physical and mental, from the prison guards. He said he was forced to stand in Cell 4 hours at a time, allowed to sit only after lights out. “Can’t sleep in freezing cell, naked, cold concrete and no place to sit. … I stand for 3 or 4 days.” He claims a voice over the public-address system sometimes chanted, “4-cell, kill yourself!” According to a former inmate, on at least one occasion, Pinto and several violent inmates were released from their cells into a common area where a guard got on the PA system and yelled, “Go get ’em, boys!” And get ’em they did. Former and current inmates back up Pinto’s claims of abuse while telling their own tales of mistreatment. All of their complaints, they said, were ignored by prison staff.

Ryan – who plead guilty to five counts of felony menacing – was described by the prosecution as the “driver.” Ryans defense attorney called him a pleasant kind-hearted person and described the start of all of this being his concern that – due to his legal troubles at the time – he ‘wouldn’t get to see his unborn child.’ This after he was sentenced to 10 years probation for sexting an 11-year-old girl. Poll: Hollande's popularity up after ruling out second term

SkullsHENNIKER, N.H. — A 73-year-old convicted pedophile was charged with touching a 10-year-old girl over the weekend told police he had abused hundreds of children and will continue to do if released. On Wednesday, John Esbensen was arraigned on a charge of aggravated felonious sexual after police say he touched a 10-year-old girl inappropriately while at the Hillsborough transfer station on Saturday. Hillsborough Police Capt. Darren Remillard said that when he interviewed Esbensen on Tuesday, he admitted he had abused hundreds of children. Esbensen, who has already served three years in prison for sexually assaulting two children in 1996, also stated that he wasn’t rehabilitated in prison and that the offender program “was a joke.” He added that he would molest children again if he were put in the position. “It’s something I have struggled with all my life,” he said. “I can smile and tell you that I’m cured, I’ll be good, I’ll be this, I’ll be that — but at the first opportunity I had, I would go right back to what I have always done.” So back off to jail he goes where he will hopefully die before molesting another kid. If only there was some kind of treatment for the pedophiles who repeatedly act on their sexual urges. Surely there is a way to ensure, 100 percent, they were never able to molest another child. Whatever could it be?

China says MH370 search to continue

MEMPHIS, TN – Brian Jones is facing child trafficking charges after a father attacked him with a baseball bat for allegedly pimping out his 12-year-old daughter.Inspired by a slew of films including BLACK DEVIL DOLL FROM HELL and CHILD’S PLAY, the movie reminded me of the first time I ever watched films like THE TOXIC AVENGER or STREET TRASH. Watching with glee as an independent horror movie effectively pushed boundaries while still managing to entertain. […]
